When Berwickshire Wheels became part of Borders Wheels in April 2024, Bavs was committed to making sure the new service started its journey in Berwickshire on a strong footing.
As part of the transition, Bavs (Berwickshire) Ltd transferred [X vehicles] and [£X in funds] to support the continuation of community transport for people across Berwickshire.
We’re incredibly proud of the part Berwickshire Wheels played in our story — and, more importantly, of the staff and volunteers who helped people get where they needed to go over the years. While community transport is no longer operated by Bavs, its importance to rural life hasn’t changed one bit.
We wish the Borders Wheels team every success for the future as they continue to develop community transport across the Scottish Borders.
