Boost your donation with Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows Bavs to claim back the basic rate of tax on the sale of your donated goods. That means for every £1 raised from the sale of items you donate to our shops or Reuse Hub, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC — at absolutely no extra cost to you.
Once registered, all you need to do is let our team know you're a Gift Aid donor whenever you drop off your donations. We'll take care of the rest.

- Return completed forms to feedback@bavs.org.uk or hand in at any shop or the Reuse Hub
- Let our team know you're a Gift Aid donor every time you drop off a donation
- If your tax situation changes, please let us know so we can update your record
Free fundraising
Shop online and raise free money for Bavs
We'll always encourage you to shop pre-loved first — it's better for your pocket and better for the planet. But when our shops don't have what you need, you can still support Bavs through Easyfundraising. Over 8,500 retailers donate a percentage of your purchase to your chosen cause every time you shop through the platform — at absolutely no extra cost to you.

Donating items to Bavs is one of the most direct ways to support our work. Every item that comes through our doors has the potential to raise funds for the community, stay out of landfill, and find a new home with someone who needs it.
We have two ways to donate — our charity shops for clothing and smaller items, and the Reuse Hub for furniture and larger household goods. All items must be clean, in good working order and ready for resale. Ask yourself "Would I buy this?" — if the answer is no, it's off to the recycling centre it goes.

Donate your time — volunteer with Bavs
Can't donate money or goods right now? Your time is just as valuable. We have volunteering roles in our shops, at the Reuse Hub, and out in the community.
