We love welcoming new faces to the Bavs family — and this time, we’re giving a very special welcome to Amber, who has joined our brilliant team at our Coldstream charity shop!
Amber is completing the volunteering element of her Duke of Edinburgh’s Award with us, and we’re absolutely thrilled she chose Bavs to be part of her journey.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award gives young people the opportunity to develop skills, build confidence and give something back to their communities. Volunteering in a charity shop environment offers a fantastic range of real-world experience — from customer service and teamwork to stock management and visual displays.
At Bavs, we truly believe that volunteering is for everyone, regardless of age or experience. Whether you have a few hours to spare, want to learn something new, meet new people, or simply give something back to the Berwickshire community, there’s a place for you with us.
Got some time to give? Pop into any of our shops in Duns, Coldstream or Eyemouth and have a chat with our friendly team — we’d love to meet you! 🙌
