You may have noticed some changes happening across our charity shops recently — and we couldn’t be more excited to share what’s been going on!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been rolling out a series of shop front refreshes across our Berwickshire locations. It’s all part of making our shops more welcoming, more visible, and more reflective of the brilliant work that goes on inside them every single day.
Eyemouth leads the way
Our Eyemouth shop was first in line for its makeover. We closed the doors for a day while the work was underway — and yes, it was dusty, noisy, and decidedly un-glamorous behind the scenes! But the result has been absolutely worth it.
If you were one of the lovely customers who popped by on the day and found us closed, thank you so much for your patience — and we hope the transformation made it worthwhile when you came back!
Why it matters
Our shops are the lifeblood of Bavs. Every purchase, every donation, every visit through those doors helps us fund our community work, our volunteering programmes, and everything else we do across Berwickshire. A fresh-looking shop front doesn’t just look good — it helps us attract more customers, more donations, and more support for the causes we care about.
